The Store Manager will oversee everything from team development and sales targets to inventory control and customer service standards. The responsibilities encompass various domains,each crucial for maintaining the store’s performance and upholding the brand’s image.
Below is an outline of the key responsibilities associated with the Store Manager role:
Team Management
Lead and inspire the sales team, fostering a passion for the brand. Provide necessary tools and guidance for the personal development of team members.
Sales
Develop and execute sales strategies, ensuring achievement of commercial goals and KPIs. Engage the sales team through action plans while maintaining a consistent brand image during the sales process.
Customer Experience
Attract and cultivate customer loyalty by delivering top-quality service and attending to every detail of the customer experience. Shop Administration Ensure adherence to operational procedures including inventory management, stock control, cash handling, and daily reporting. Shop Operations Manage and oversee daily shop operations, establish opening and closing routines, optimize shop layout and functioning for maximum profitability.
Human Resource Management
Handle HR duties such as recruitment, hiring, training, scheduling, assigning responsibilities, setting sales quotas, and performance management based on metrics.
Accounting and Financials
Administer accounting functions, meet sales and financial targets, manage budgets, and oversee payroll processes according tonestablished policies.
Inventory Control
Maintain optimal inventory levels through regular counts, seasonal adjustments, and management of specials or sales items. Customer Service Enforces exceptional customer service standards, establishes criteria for staff behaviour, ensures security and safety measures, develops emergency and lock-down procedures, and guarantees compliance with health and safety regulations.
Loss Prevention
Implement security measures, monitor and audit inventory levels, handle damaged merchandise appropriately, and establish strategies to prevent losses.
